How we can work together
Often, I recommend starting with an osteopathy session to reduce tension and create more ease in the body. From there, we may continue with physiotherapy / exercise therapy or personal movement training, depending on your needs and goals.
This is not a fixed pathway, you can start with the option that best fits your needs, and we adjust the approach together along the way.
The approach: from space to move
Create space
We first look at where your body may be holding tension or adapting around a complaint. Through assessment and hands-on treatment, we aim to create more ease, mobility and space in the body.
Explore movement
Once there is more space, we explore how your body moves. Through simple, tailored exercises, you can discover new movement options, build awareness and reconnect with what feels natural and comfortable.
Build freedom
From there, we develop strength, confidence and adaptability so that movement becomes something you can trust and use in everyday life, sport and the activities you enjoy.

Finding the right path for your body:
Depending on whether you want to ease tension or focus on how you move, we will decide together where to begin. Often, I recommend starting with an Osteopathy session. This gives us a chance to calm your nervous system, release tension, and create space in your body so you can find your own natural way of moving. From that open foundation, we move into Movement Therapy sessions to practice exercises and movements tailored specifically to you and your goals.
If you prefer, you can easily start with a Movement Therapy session on its own. If I notice during our first screening that opening up your body first would help you progress, I might suggest trying an osteopathy session along the way to give your body the extra space it needs to move freerly.

An osteopathic session is a gentle, hands-on therapeutic treatment that looks at your health through a whole-body lense. Listening to your health history, lifestyle, habits, and the reason for your visit. By evaluating and treating the relationships between your muscles, joints, nervous system, and internal organs, we gently release deep-seated physical restrictions.
The goal is to ease tension, support your body’s natural regulatory systems, and restore a sense of ease and whole-body balance. When helpful, simple guidance around posture, breathing, movement, or daily habits may also be offered to support the process beyond the session.

A physiotherapy/exercise therapy session is an active, hybrid intervention designed to bridge the gap between clinical rehabilitation and everyday movement.
Starting with a movement screening, this session is tailored to create space in your body and ease physical tension.
Through targeted movement, specific exercises, and deep body awareness, it is designed to help you move with confidence, restoring your capacity to move comfortably while improving your daily connection with your body. -
While both fields treat the human framework, they approach recovery from different angles:
Physiotherapy takes an active, structured approach. It focuses heavily on target-specific rehabilitation, strengthening, optimizing functional movement patterns, and restoring capacity to a specific area of the body after an injury or surgery.
Osteopathy takes a broader, whole-body approach that is primarily hands-on and tactile. Instead of just focusing on the site of pain, it looks at how different systems interact, making it uniquely helpful for:
Recurrent or long-standing, chronic pain.
Stress-related tension, fatigue, or burnout symptoms held in the body.
Digestive or visceral complaints, as well as breathing restrictions.
Complex symptoms that do not improve by treating only one isolated area.
Individuals who thrive with a gentle, intuitive, hands-on touch.
Can these sessions be combined?
Absolutely! They complement each other.
Osteopathy serves as the ideal foundation by gently restoring mobility, calming the nervous system, and bringing the whole body back into a state of ease.
A movement therapy session then steps in to actively anchor that newfound space, building the strength, confidence, and daily body awareness you need to stay moving comfortably long-term.
